Misfortune Never Comes Alone

About a fortnight ago, I went through a moment of embarrassment on account of my carelessness.
Those days I felt deeply blue and depressed about my study and I blamed all these on my Mom, wholesale jerseys, which led us to break out into a quarrel. Then I decided to go to the playground alone even if it was 9.30 at night, hoping that maybe the wind could relax myself, which made me regret even until today. I had considered it was too late to exercise. Nevertheless, there were still many people jogging. The wind blew my hair and reduced my fatigue. With two eyes fixed on my phone, I didn't notice that there was a marvelous puddle of concrete just in front of me.However, when I noticed it, it was too late to react for one leg already in the air. I fell into the puddle just like a watermelon. My left arm and leg scratched the bottom of the puddle, whose incline also hurt my rib badly. Even under circumstances like this, shame mixed pain, what I was dying to do was just sneaking away with no one noticing me just like what I did to the puddle. Despite someone came to my aid, trying to hold back her laugh, asking me if I need help. I declined her offer and thanked her.In the meanwhile,cheap mlb hats, I got up with all my hands and feet, aching and embarrassed. I couldn't help crying but silently, calling my girlfriend and squatting to wait. Finally, my bad temper paid the price.

A Scary New World

While some political parties and politicians in the US continue to either deny that 1) climate change is not real, 2) climate change is fictional and the Chinese thought of the idea (Donald Trump has apparently said this according to new reports), cheap jerseys, or 3) climate change we see today is natural and we can't do anything about it, I have to beg to different.
Most scientists (at least 97% according to one report) agree that climate change is real and caused by man.  The other 3% must be crazy or paid by some strange political parties similar to those scientists who were paid decades ago by tobacco companies to claim cigarettes do not cause cancer.
In light of reality, I'd like to make a few predictions.  In 2006, I predicted the Arctic would be ice free by 2030 in summer and within six months shortened that to 2020.  We came close in 2016, but we are not there yet.
First, you can write off large mammals.  In the near future, there will be no wild elephants, giraffes, rinos (except those in the US congress that get named "RINOS" for "Republicans In Name Only"), tigers, or lions, etc.  Even pandas are in danger.  Why?  Land use change,cheap snapback hats, climate change, and pressure from human populations.  I've not done the statistics, but I'm quite sure that we can't keep killing them at current rates without wiping them out completely in the lifetime of some humans alive today.
Second, the "two degree centigrade" global warming target will be passed quickly. We are already up 1 degree C.  I strongly suspect we will be up 5 degrees C by 2100, but I probably won't be around to find out since I was born in 1952.
Third, sea level rise will soon occur much more quickly than has happened in the past.  Instead of inches (or tens of centimeters) we will be talking in meters, plural.
Lastly, stopping these changes will be impossible.  We've already committed ourselves to these changes.  The question is this.  Can we stop it from getting worse?  The answer, based on our past lack of success, fake oakley sunglasses, is simple.  No.

To learn from others.

In these days, I was severely occupied by article-related things. It didn't go as I had imagined before, not that easy at all. To accomplish this article, I set a deadline for myself. Before I started to write my article, I had collected many articles and work done by others. And I made a brief outline before I read those materials. All day long I stayed in my office trying to sort out some useful information and keeping lots of notes. Though I browsed all the materials one by one, I still couldn't keep all the things in mind. When I tended to write, I didn't know how to start. While as the time passed away, I felt more and more nervous and upset. This embarrassing situation made me exhausted, it devoured my passion and hope. And it totally went against my original intention.  

As a worker in the research institute, I expected to do everything on basis of interests and gains. So, before this article, I was also having that attitude. However, it might be due to the deadline, I felt much pressure and everything I did seemed to serve for accomplishing one task only, but not for learning something or solving problems that puzzled me. In this messed situation, I seemed to have forgotten what I was striving for.

Honestly, it was not wrong to set a deadline, because that was a good way to avoid laziness. After reflections, I thought my problem lied in that I didn't learn from others in a modest way. Actually, every published article was a masterpiece of those authors, it may cost them lots of time and efforts. While, to accomplish mine in time, I forgot to seriously study what they thought, what they had done and how they organized the whole article. It was my fault that I didn't figure out those things in advance, instead, dream to have great innovation. This just seemed to say I wanted to run before I knew how to walk. Luckily,  I had recognized my problem for this moment.

To learn from others was not only well applicable to writings, it was applicable to everything. In our life, only if we modestly tried to find others' merits, we would know our own deficiencies and have chances to promote ourselves.
